I get my lashes done every two weeks.
Which probably tells you two things about me:
- I like low-effort, high-impact life choices
- I’m loyal once I find someone good
Finding “your trusted person” is everything
We moved recently, which meant I had to find a new lash tech.
And if you know, you know… this is not a quick decision.
You’re trusting someone with your face. Your eyes. Your ability to feel like a functioning human when you leave the house.
No pressure.
It wasn’t about marketing
I didn’t choose her because of:
- a perfectly curated Instagram (although I did check her this way)
- a clever ad
- a “limited time offer”
I chose her because:
- she’s right across from my building (convenience is queen)
- she’s good (like, really good – teaches others good)
- and after one appointment, I knew I’d go back
That was it.
And now? I don’t even think about it
I don’t shop around.
I don’t compare prices.
I don’t Google “best lash tech near me” every two weeks.
I just… go.
Because the decision has already been made.
This is what good branding actually does
Branding isn’t:
- loud
- overcomplicated
- trying to prove something
It’s not about saying, ‘We’re the best, pick us’.
It’s about creating an experience where people decide that for themselves.
Consistency builds trust
Every time I go, I know what I’m getting.
- Same quality
- Same result
- Same quiet, relaxing appointment where I accidentally fall asleep
No surprises. No stress.
And that consistency?
That’s what builds trust.
Your words set the expectation
As a copywriter, this is the part I find interesting.
Because your copy is where people decide:
‘Do I trust this?’
‘Do I believe what they’re saying?’
But your brand?
That’s where you prove it.
You don’t need to say more — you need to deliver
A lot of brands think they need:
- more words
- better words
- fancier words
But if the experience doesn’t match what you’re saying?
None of it matters.
People don’t stay because you impressed them once
They stay because:
- you showed up consistently
- you delivered what you promised
- you made it easy to come back
Back to the lashes
I’ll keep going back.
Not because she’s constantly trying to win me over.
But because she already has.
I’m loyal to her brand – her talent, her calmness, her ability to make my eyes look a bit glam.
The takeaway
Branding isn’t what you say once.
It’s what you prove repeatedly.
And if you get that right?
People stop questioning the decision.
They stop looking elsewhere.
They stop needing to be convinced.
They just… book again.
Final thought
Waking up with your lashes already done and feeling ready to go?
Highly recommend.
10/10 branding experience.
